Questions owners ask
- Do you take a cut of orders?
- No. Customers pay through the restaurant's own Stripe account; payouts go to the restaurant's bank. Smart Zone never holds the money and charges no per-order fee.
- What does card processing cost?
- Stripe's standard rate, paid to Stripe. Two built-in switches reduce it: pay at pickup (no card at all) and an optional online service fee that the customer covers.
- Do I need a printer or a tablet?
- A tablet or any phone shows the kitchen board. A Star CloudPRNT printer is optional; if it goes offline the board flags every unprinted ticket.
- Can I use my own domain?
- Yes. Your site lives at web.smartzonecorp.com/r/your-name from day one and can move to orders.yourdomain.com when you're ready.
- Who owns my customers?
- You do. Names, phones, order history and accounts are yours and export as a file from the console at any time.
- Is it accessible?
- Light and dark, three text sizes, full keyboard use, screen-reader labels, and no blocking pop-ups — checked on every release.
